Background & challenge
When a business spends heavily on ads, the biggest risk usually isn’t the ad creative. It’s the ad account itself.
Situations store owners often run into:
- Spending limits. Personal accounts often have daily spending caps or low billing thresholds. Raising budget in the middle of a sale isn’t possible.
- Locks due to payment. One failed card charge, the account is restricted, and campaigns stop right when they’re bringing in orders.
- No VAT invoice for ad spend, which makes accounting difficult as spend grows.
- Slow appeals. Ads get rejected and accounts get restricted, with no direct support channel.
LDH Media provides an agency account system for TikTok and Facebook to solve these problems. This article summarizes the system’s data for Q2/2025.
Diagnosis from the data
TikTok – Agency Advantage. Screenshot of the Agency Advantage page with 9 days left in Q2/2025:
- Partner tier: Platinum. Projection for the next quarter: still Platinum.
- Spend to date: 175,349.24 USD.
- Active ad accounts: 8.
- Average spend per active account about 21,900 USD for the quarter (175,349.24 ÷ 8, calculated from the dashboard). This is an average; actual spend differs by account.
The Platinum tier comes with benefits shown on the page: accelerated ad spend, new ad accounts, and ad account maintenance.
Facebook – account management table. Screenshot of the Facebook ad account management table managed by LDH Media:
- The Limit column for most accounts reads No limit, meaning no separate spending cap is set. One account in the screenshot has its own limit.
- The Threshold column is the automatic billing threshold. This is the spend level at which Facebook charges the payment method, which is different from a spending limit.
- Total spend of the 5 largest accounts is about 26 billion VND (calculated from the dashboard). Account 1 alone accounts for about 63%.
Worth noting: an account with a total spend of 16.4 billion VND shows it has run stably for a long time. For ad accounts, a clean spending history is an asset.
Growth strategy
LDH Media’s framework when moving clients onto agency accounts:
Phase 1 – Foundation: set up correctly from the start
- Create ad accounts under the agency Business Center, with clear permissions for the client and the ad team.
- Connect the client’s Pixel, product catalog and page/channel to the new account.
- Review ad content against platform policies before launch to reduce the risk of rejection.
Phase 2 – Activation: move spend safely
- Run the old account and the agency account in parallel for a short period, instead of switching everything in one day.
- Top up according to the budget plan, without depending on a personal card.
- Issue VAT invoices for TikTok ad spend.
Phase 3 – Scale: expand across multiple accounts
- Split accounts by brand and by campaign type (GMV Max, Live, video) for easier management and less concentration risk.
- Always keep a backup account ready in case the main account has a problem.
- Use the partner channel to appeal when ads are rejected or accounts are restricted.

There’s no “vs. previous period” column because these are snapshots of account status, not period-based reports.
Analysis: where the growth came from
For an account service, “growth” isn’t measured by the client’s revenue, but by the ability to spend stably. It can be split into three factors:
1. No spending ceiling. With the account at No limit, budget can rise with ad performance. The store doesn’t have to pause campaigns for hitting a daily cap.
2. No interruptions due to payment. Accounts in the agency system are topped up according to plan. The risk of lockouts from failed cards drops significantly.
3. A support channel when problems arise. The TikTok Agency Advantage Platinum tier provides access to partner benefits such as accelerated spend and opening new accounts.
The weak spots, stated plainly:
- Agency accounts are not exempt from policy. Violating ads are still rejected, and accounts can still be restricted. Fix: review content before launch and avoid guarantee claims or absolute comparisons.
- Concentrating spend in one account is a risk. Account 1 accounts for about 63% of the total spend of the 5 largest accounts. If it has a problem, the impact will be large. That’s why Phase 3 requires splitting accounts and keeping backups.
- Spend data is not performance data. High total spend only shows the account runs stably. Ad performance (ROI, cost per order) still depends on the product, content and optimization.
Lessons for store owners
- Separate ad accounts from personal cards once spend is large. One payment error can halt an entire sale.
- Distinguish “Threshold” from “Limit”. Threshold is the automatic billing level; Limit is the spending cap. Misreading these two columns easily leads to misjudging spending capacity.
- Don’t put the entire budget into one account. Always keep at least one backup account.
- Keep account history clean. Review content against policy before launch to minimize rejections.
- Get VAT invoices for ad spend from the start for transparent accounting.
Accounts must still comply with TikTok and Meta advertising policies; violating content can still be rejected.
Actual results depend on the product, pricing, inventory, budget and platform policies. This is not a guarantee of results for every client.
Is this your situation?
- Just as things are running well, the ad account hits a daily spending limit and the budget can't be raised.
- One failed card payment and the account is locked, with campaigns stopping mid-sale.
- Ad spend is large, but there's no VAT invoice for accounting.
- Ads get rejected or the account gets restricted, and appeals go unanswered.
