Background & challenge
Before building channels for clients, the LDH Media team built one for its own CEO, Lê Duy Hiệp. This was a way to validate the process on “one of our own” before applying it to other experts and business owners.
The challenge for an expert-style personal brand is different from an entertainment channel:
- Technical expertise easily turns into dry content. TikTok ads, TikTok Shop and Facebook are technical topics.
- Limited filming time. The host also runs the business, teaches classes and meets clients.
- Viewers need to see value immediately. If a video doesn’t solve a specific problem, viewers scroll past.
The goal: build a channel whose audience is store owners and online sellers. The channel had to be big enough to build credibility, and “on-target” enough to bring in students and clients.
Channel diagnosis
Reading the TikTok profile pages of the two channels (data captured directly):
The @leduyhiep.official channel
- 561.6K followers, 2.8 million likes.
- A likes-to-followers ratio of about 5 (calculated from the profile).
- The “Trending” section has many videos with 2.4 million to 7.3 million views: 7.3M, 6.8M, 4.9M, 3.6M, 3.6M, 2.4M.
- Topic playlists: TikTok Shop business (3 posts), TikTok ads demystified (11 posts), Long, detailed videos (44 posts).
The Lê Duy Hiệp – AI Hub channel
- 40.3K followers, 305.6K likes.
- A likes-to-followers ratio of about 7.6 (calculated from the profile), higher than the main channel.
- Trending videos: 6.8M, 1.6M, 589.9K, 471.9K, 441.8K views. Many other videos are above 300K views.
Strengths: both channels have videos with millions of views. Topics are clear and solve a specific problem: recovering a hacked Facebook account, account verification, building a new channel, creating videos with AI.
Worth noting: the AI Hub channel has very high video views relative to its follower count. Viewers come for a useful video but don’t yet stay to follow the channel much.
Content strategy
LDH Media’s framework for its personal brand channel-building package:
Phase 1 – Foundation: choose content tracks from real expertise
- List the questions clients and students ask most. Each question is a video idea.
- Split content tracks by expertise: TikTok Shop business, TikTok ads, Facebook, AI tools.
- Write a clear channel bio with a business contact link.
Phase 2 – Activation: film fast, post consistently
- Short scripts, approved before filming. The opening line states the problem the viewer is facing right away.
- Film in batches in one session to have videos for many days.
- Consistent thumbnails with large text that state the benefit clearly (e.g. “Make slides in 2 minutes”, “Recover a hacked FB”).
Phase 3 – Scale: expand the ecosystem
- Group videos into playlists so new viewers can find older content.
- Spin off a second channel for a topic big enough on its own (AI) instead of cramming it into the main channel.
- Connect the channel with classes, seminars and panel discussions to turn viewers into students and clients.

Analysis: where the growth came from
For an expert channel, growth can be split into: number of useful videos × reach × share of viewers who stay to follow.
Number of useful videos. The “Long, detailed videos” playlist alone has 44 posts. A large volume of expert content gives the channel many “entry points” for new viewers.
Reach. The videos with millions of views all have specific topics that hit the worries of online sellers: hacked accounts, account verification, new channels with throttled reach, ads that bring orders. Thumbnails state the benefit up front.
Share who stay to follow. The main channel has 561.6K followers, showing that viewers come back for the host, not just for one video. The AI Hub channel has a video with 6.8M views but only 40.3K followers. Viewers come for the tool and aren’t yet attached to the host.
The weak spots and how to fix them:
- The AI Hub channel depends on “hot tools”. AI topics change fast and old videos date quickly. Fix: add videos about mindset and processes for applying AI to sales, less dependent on any single tool.
- AI Hub followers don’t yet match its views. It needs clearer calls to follow and multi-part series that give viewers a reason to come back.
- The “TikTok Shop business” playlist has only 3 posts. This is LDH Media’s core topic, so it should be expanded to give new viewers a clear viewing path.
Lessons for experts and business owners
- Start from your clients’ questions. Every repeated question is a video viewers need.
- One video, one problem. The more specific the topic, the easier it spreads.
- Film in batches, approve scripts in advance. Busy people can still keep a posting rhythm.
- Use playlists and series to keep new viewers around longer.
- Tie the channel to real activities: classes, seminars, projects. Offline credibility makes content more trustworthy.
Channel data is captured directly on TikTok and changes over time.
Actual results depend on the product, pricing, inventory, budget and platform policies. This is not a guarantee of results for every client.
Is this your situation?
- I have real expertise, but online nobody knows me; clients still have to find me through word of mouth.
- I want to make videos but don't know what topics to cover; teaching feels dry, entertainment feels off-brand.
- My schedule is packed; I can't find even one session a week to film.
- I posted a few videos and gave up because views were low, not knowing whether to persist or change direction.
